Overall Since the day of joining 1st year passed by amazingly but from 2nd year the college decided to give us unnecessary amount of pressure i dont know what they want to prove we have to maintain a 75 % attendence which somehow dosent count to 24 leaves but counts as 12 days and 2 days added on as medical leave per semester.

UEM Kolkata scholarships are offered in various programmes for candidates of IEMJEE and 10+2 pass. The 4 scholarship programmes available at the University are provided on tuition fees.
- B. Tech students who have scored 60% aggregate marks in the IEMJEE examination are eligible to get a 25% scholarship on tuition fees for the 1st semester.
- Students scoring more significant than 95% aggregate in CBSE/ICS/State Boards of Class X & XII are eligible for a 100% scholarship on tuition fees.
- Students scoring more significant than 90% aggregate in CBSE/ICS/State Boards of Class X & XII are eligible for a 50% scholarship on tuition fees.
- Students scoring more significant than 85% aggregate in CBSE/ICS/State Boards of Class X & XII are eligible for a 25% scholarship on tuition fees.
Security deposit, boarding and lodging costs are to be paid by the candidates and would not be included in the scholarship. Eligible candidates must submit the UEM Kolkata Scholarship Application form and relevant mark sheets. The scholarship is granted on a semester basis, and the continuation of the semester in further semesters is subjected to scholarship policy. The scholarship is granted by holding a separate scholarship ceremony, and hence there is no policy of the University to adjust the tuition fees with the scholarship.
